2017 Letter from the President of FMF

Letter from The President

February   27, 2017

Hello Participants and Parents!

On behalf of the FMF Board, I would like to welcome you to the FMF Family! Established back in 1967, we are welcoming in a new era at FMF celebrating 50 years as the Premier Youth Football and Cheer Program in Hunterdon County.  We are happy you have joined us and look forward to your child's participation. Youth sports are a great way to teach children about teamwork, honor, integrity, sportsmanship, leadership and other character traits. Our coaches strive to teach your children not only the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, but also the fundamentals of valuable life lessons.

If you have questions at any time during the season, please contact your Head Coach or one of the Board members. The most important thing we can stress is Communication is critical, and we do our best to keep everyone informed.

We are looking forward to a great 2017 season!

The mission of the FMF is to provide eligible youth with a positive, safe environment to learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, while encouraging good sportsmanship and teamwork.

Our Coaching Philosophy

FMF coaches will adhere to the following coaching philosophy:

·         Keep focused on our main objective: To provide our children with a positive experience in football.

·         Teach through positive reinforcement.

·         Encourage that through hard work and the desire of not giving up, anything can be achieved.

·         Motivate and challenge all of the children on a team.

·         Teach football fundamentals to enable a good foundation for future years.

·         Be competitive but fair, be aggressive but respectful, be tough but compassionate and maintain balance in coaching.

·         Win or lose, keep it fun and help explain the lessons along the way

Continued Growth

Finally I would encourage you and all of our coaches to recruit new families into our organization so that we can grow our football and cheer family! there is a long tradition of coaches and families recruiting players for this organization  and that tradition will continue.    I am committed to doing what I can to improve what others have done before me and with your help I know we can do it.

We are always looking for coaches, so if you are interested in coaching, or have any questions about it contact Dan Eggemann Director of football at   or for cheer Michelle Luciano at
